✅ Short version: We collect only what's needed to run Qgurukul. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything beyond operating this service.

1 What Data We Collect

When you sign up and use Qgurukul, we collect:

2 What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or store:

Passwords (we use session-based login, no passwords stored)
Device information, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints
The actual question papers you generate
Payment card details (all payments are via UPI/QR, not stored by us)
Cookies beyond your active session

3 How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only for:

Logging you into your account and maintaining your session
Enforcing free/premium usage limits (daily/hourly paper counts)
Contacting you about your premium upgrade status
Improving Qgurukul (we may review which subjects/chapters are most used — anonymously)

4 Third-Party Services

Qgurukul uses the following third-party services:

Render.com — hosts our web application. See Render's Privacy Policy.
WhatsApp — used only for premium upgrade communication (optional).

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising trackers.

5 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. Period.

The only case we'd share data is if required by Indian law or a valid legal order.

6 Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data:

Our platform is served over HTTPS
User data is stored on Render.com's secured servers
No third-party has access to your account information

However, no internet service is 100% secure. Please use a unique email and do not share your account with others.

8 Children's Privacy

Qgurukul is intended for teachers and adult educators. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13 years of age. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

9 Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Qgurukul after changes means you accept the revised policy.
